This is such a cute coffee shop! The vibes are so fun! There’s a lot of seating, both indoor and outdoor. They roast their own coffee, and I found it to be a pleasant blend - pretty smooth, I’d guess it’s maybe a medium to dark roast espresso. My cappuccino was good, although it was too foamy for my personal preference. I still thoroughly enjoyed it though. I tasted their “everything but the pumpkin” latte as well and it was good! Their “for here” cups are glasses instead of mugs, which is a fun concept. If I lived around here I’d definitely come by often. Cala Coffee is totally worth the visit!

This little coffee shop is a must-visit for anyone who loves a cozy, trendy atmosphere paired with amazing coffee. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a welcoming vibe and the slogan "Create Good Days" on the wall – and that's exactly what they do here! The roasting area is a really cool feature! You can actually see the roasting process through a glass wall, which adds an authentic and unique touch. It gives you the sense that they are serious about their coffee – and trust me, the flavor proves it! The coffee is bold, fresh, and perfectly brewed. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, making sure you leave with not just a great cup of coffee, but also a smile. Overall, this place checks all the boxes for a perfect coffee spot – trendy, delicious, and full of character. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

My favorite coffee shop I got to visit while in Birmingham, AL!☕️🍵 Cala Coffee in Cahaba Heights has a beautiful interior and cute little messages on their mirrors and doors! Atmosphere: The space is very large and has a variety of seating areas inside and outside. Their branding colors are implanted well throughout the building. Service: The worker who took our order was very kind and recommended the drink that I ended up ordering. Menu items: I got their Strawberry Matcha (1/2 sweet with whole milk) and the chocolate chip cookie that they get from Bandit Patisserie (a bakery in Downtown Birmingham. The matcha was delicious and not overly sweet. The chocolate chip cookies were a great add on, and I enjoyed all of the pastries that I tried at Bandit! I tried multiple coffee shops in Birmingham during my trip and Cala ended up being my favorite! I hope to come back soon to get another matcha!🍵
