I recently visited Eight Coffee in Calgary, hoping to enjoy a great coffee experience, but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. I ordered a latte, and while it was well-presented, the flavor left me a bit underwhelmed—it tasted rather bland and lacked the richness I usually look for. Initially, I had considered purchasing some roasted coffee beans to bring home, thinking it might be an opportunity to explore their offerings further. However, my interaction with the staff left me feeling less inclined to do so. The staff member I spoke with didn’t seem particularly welcoming or enthusiastic, and that lack of warmth made the experience less enjoyable overall. It’s always nice to feel a personal connection or friendliness when visiting a coffee shop, and sadly, this visit didn’t provide that. On a positive note, the ambiance of the café was decent, offering a cozy space to sit and relax. Despite this, the combination of the average coffee and less-than-friendly service led me to decide to explore other coffee shops in Calgary instead. With so many local spots known for their excellent brews and inviting atmospheres, I’m optimistic about finding a place that better aligns with my expectations.

Visited this coffee shop for the first time and was delighted by their perfect pumpkin spice—not too sweet! The café is spotless, with a cozy atmosphere that invites you to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly, and there's an impressive variety of drinks and pastries to choose from. Definitely a must-visit spot in Downtown Calgary.

Clean, fresh, tasty and the coffee was divine. The basil panini was perfectly toasted too. Best part is it’s a relaxed spot with a 100 watt smile. Great place to try!!!
