Cool shop, staff was very welcoming. Love the atmosphere, with the cozy interior, lively music choice, would love to spend time studying/working etc. here. Coffee was pleasant straight. I will definitely try the bagels next time. They also sell records here, i believe, with good variety, slightly curated. Highly recommend

First time here, and definitely my favourite place to go to, and worth the walk from my Sunalta home! The bagels are so good, and the chai latte is yummy. I really like the atmosphere here. I was so excited to see not only records, but Japanese records (If had the money I would have gotten the one I found!). Will definitely come back when I can. 🫶

ILYCS is a great spot to grab a cappuccino and read a book (perhaps even one you just picked up from Shelf Life next door). My partner and I have spent many a Sunday afternoon here, and always stop by if we're in the neighbourhood. Check out Inner Ocean Records and the rotating art collection while you're there. I still think about these awesome monochromatic dog paintings that were in the store last year. Overall: beautiful spot, excellent coffee, friendly staff.
