I happened to be in the area for a few hours and decided to try out this spot to study! Usually, I don't expect much other than somewhere to sit, wifi, and decent beverages/food, but Candid definitely exceeded my expectations! I had the brie, pesto and prosciutto bagel which was pretty delicious along with the campfire cookie (probably my fav item I tried)! As for a drink, I ordered a Chai Latte, it was pretty good, however, I think I will try a different beverage next time. The atmosphere was very clean but it was pretty busy, which I wasn't expecting for a random Friday early afternoon (great business for them though). They have lots of seating which does make up for it! The welcoming and friendly employees also added to the overall experience. I will be back. 😊

Candid is one of the hidden gems in Edmonton. It’s located in industrial areas. The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside is where is “wows” you. Plenty of seating and there are two floors. They don’t have much on their menu but what they do have makes up for it. Got the Peach Raspberry Ice Tea, I’d recommend getting two shots of sweetener if you are on the sweet side. Wife got the cold brew and it was just perfect how it was. We also ordered the Breakfast Sandwich which was delicious. Would highly recommend this place. Just keep in mind that there is no elevator so the second floor is not wheelchair or stroller friendly. There are bathrooms on the main floor.

Hi my name is Fred. Hi Fred. Candid Coffee Roasters is a more than formidable cafe in the Southside. Although my Cafe journey is early, I can say without a doubt the atmosphere was top, the loft was a really nice touch. The service aswell was amazing, the barista was very friendly. The cookies were really good, probably the highlight of our visit. Would definitely come again.
