Finally made it for wood fired pizza which is only on Friday and Saturday from 5-9 pm. Recommended by friend. Was wary as a lot of the reviews mentioned negative customer service experience. While we didn't have a negative experience it also was not positive, no greeting, no smile, no thank you. Got there at 515 was already 7-8 tables ahead of us, wait time was about 20 minutes from order. Outer Crust was really good with a good amount of char. Sauce was good, they must use San Marzano tomatoes, basic but good. Ordered Marinara and Margherita. Marinara was very soggy and bottom crust was floppy but tasted good. Margherita was same. Overall mildly disappointed, probably won't go back. Very similar to what I make at home with my Ooni pizza oven but my bottom crust is not floppy.

We heard about their Friday/Saturday wood fire pizza night and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did and will be back! The staff were extremely friendly, the chef makes the pizzas with fresh ingredients! By far the best pizzas in Surprise, not your chain restaurant pizza... you can taste the love poured into them! We were already lucky enough to by some pastries for dessert! This is where we've gone for Italian pastries since our trip to Italy in 2019 & My Daddys Bakery is authentic 🇮🇹 & amazing! Note: the website says they are closed but they open for the wood fire pizza Friday & Saturday from 5p-9p. You've got to try it for your self. We got there around 7pm and missed the rush!

Love this bakery!! Coming from Jersey it is hands down the best in AZ. Everyone is always very friendly, the desserts are delicious (my favorite is the Napoleon). There is plenty of seating inside if you want to grab lunch or breakfast there. When you first walk in it is the bakery and the cafe is towards the right. If you haven't been here it is definitely worth it! They also have pizzas and pastas you can take home and cook yourself, I haven't tried them but I'm sure they are good.
