Typed in ‘sandwich’ when looking for a spot to eat on google maps and am I so happy to have checked out Black Casket Cafe! First, the place has the coolest vibe! You can tell it was decorated with passion. So many cool things to see. Even if gothic core isn’t your style, this place is pretty rad looking. Second, the staff there were so friendly and welcoming! Third and probably the best, the food is amazing! We got a custom sandwich and breakfast burrito, which were HUGE and so good. Probably the best sandwiches we’ve had in recent memory. Their London fogs were delicious, not too sweet and full of flavour. We’re still too full to try to raspberry lemon roll but it smells divine so we’ll report back later. We will definitely be making this place a frequent stop because it was just too good!

I’ve been to Black Casket a few times before for hot beverages which have always been amazing, but this time I stopped by for sandwiches. I got the tuna sandwich on gluten free bread for my partner and I had the jalapeño popper sandwich with added ham. Both were incredible!!! The servings were huge, and they were both so tasty! Also, every single time I’ve been there the customer service has been the best! I highly recommend you check them out!

The Black Casket is a great hangout place for anyone who admires Gothic aesthetics. I had the opportunity to have lunch there near the end of October. The establishment was so unique for how it is decorated with Halloween decorations and antiquated-looking gothic ornaments. There is also a lounge area upstairs where you can feel more comfortable while you socialize and eat. I had their 'build your own sandwich', which consisted of salami, Dijon mustard, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce and onions on a pretzel submarine bun. The sandwich was good; the salami was really good being given a generous portion of it, the vegetables were fresh and the bun, not so fresh, but was still good. Their coffee was pretty decent. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They even gave me a free cookie for my patronage when I asked for one of their baked goods. I recommend the Black Casket Cafe for anyone who loves stylish hangout businesses that serves specialized beverages.
