C Market Coffee (Coquitlam)

Met with a friend for breakfast. We ordered Avocado toast with poached egg. It’s tasted very good. Just felt that plate size should be bigger. Server was quick to prepare our order. I am not too sure whether any music was playing in the background….which means even if it was then the volume was quiet low because when it got little crowded, other’s voices was more like noise

I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The croissant sandwich came with a plain butter croissant instead of the multigrain croissant listed on the menu. The egg benedict was also a disappointment—way too runny, and the hollandaise sauce didn’t taste right. I ordered a black sesame cream coffee but ended up with the leopard drink by mistake. It was way too watered down, had too much milk, and lacked any real coffee flavor—it was honestly pretty bad. The music was also way too loud, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. The only highlight was the chocolate cake, which was great, but I’m afraid I won’t be returning anytime soon.

Our first trip to Ikea Coquitlam. So I wanted to visit a café because I love visiting new cafés. Found them on Vancouver Hot chocolate festival’s page. It was packed on a weekday. But no line ups, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. Ordered our food and drinks. Food was amazing & fresh. Their toasted marshmallow latte & coco dalgona was delicious.
