Cafe La Foret Austin

I usually avoid eateries that are too crowded. The last time I went to La Foret Austin, I had a bad impression because there were too many people sitting too close together. I’m glad I gave it a second try. Since we went around 10:30 in the morning for brunch, it wasn’t too crowded. Their selection of pastries was amazing, the food quality was great, and the portions were very generous.

A great cafe to enjoy drinks and baked goods! Their pastas are good too. It’s more of a spot for socializing rather than a place to relax and focus. That said, the interior is comfortable and inviting! But parking can be difficult here due to lack of spots.

This new place looks fantastic. the pain is the parking. the parking lot is small. have to find a street parking one block away. their food are normally good overall. we went for the Thanksgiving dinner event. it was their first time hosting. The service during the dinner time was good. wish they had host and server as different people instead of one person doing all the work, and left us at the front by the waiting sign, but no one came to greet and lead us. no complaining as it was their first dinner event. They tried their best to make us enjoy the night as much as possible at the end. so Thanks for that.
