This is such an eclectic spot. Very charming, unique, and warm. Menu is pastery, Cafe, brunch. I got the breakfast plate and latte. The latte was perfect. Big spacious windows, surrounded by vintage. Staff were warm and inviting- this is one of my favorite experiences in Nanaimo!

Soup of the day comes from a tetra pack, if they remember your order at all. I had to ask for what should have been a quick service meal after twenty minutes and after my dining mate had got their food. When the dish arrived it was one of the most repulsive colours I’ve ever seen, and not dressed up in any way, with two pieces of over buttered bread - I would have expected more from a meal that was $16 after tax and tip than a small bowl of shelf stable soup presented without any extras. Employees seem disinterested in customer service and mostly interested in chatting amongst themselves. The aesthetic and atmosphere is reflective of the quality of food and service. Little if any seating available inside to people who don’t use stairs. Won’t be back.

We liked the breakfast wrap! Little bit extra waiting time for our food as they were super busy. Restaurant like classic decor and that seems like their traditional value.
