⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Weekday Morning Ritual for the Past Year! ☕🍪 This charming little cafe has been my absolute weekday morning staple in Richmond for over a year now—and for good reason! Their Latte is pure perfection, but the star of the show is the Mocha with its homemade mocha sauce. Rich, velvety, and with a depth of flavour that differentiates from chain cafes —it’s a game-changer! The magic starts with their beans: Always Sunny coffee beans roasted in Winnipeg. Every sip of their brew is smooth, and balanced, and has this lovely chocolate undertone that makes it stand out, unlike anything you’ll find at chain cafes—truly a standout! The Earl Grey cookies are buttery with a delicate bergamot aroma, and the pistachio cookies are nutty delight. Paired with a latte, it’s the ultimate morning (or afternoon!) pick-me-up.

I wanted to support this local coffee shop because of its high ratings, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The service was decent, but the quality of the drinks didn’t match the expectations. My matcha latte was poorly made—the matcha wasn’t whisked properly, and the milk-to-matcha ratio was completely off. Also, despite seeing latte art in other photos, mine had none. Overall, I regret trying this place and wouldn’t return.

Their irresistible aroma of freshly ground beans—nothing beats that rich, bold fragrance! The flavor profile is just as impressive: smooth, full-bodied, and well-balanced. What really stands out about FreshPress Coffee is how fresh and vibrant the coffee tastes. You can tell they take great care in sourcing their beans and roasting them to perfection. I love how they offer a variety of blends, each with its own unique flavor notes, which allows me to switch things up depending on my mood. Definitely recommended!
