Found the best pour over coffee in San Diego! Ruben is doing right with diverse single origins, showcasing different regions and acidity. If you love GOOD coffee, definitely go to Origen. Beautiful Koi pond also nestled between corporate offices.

This is truly the BEST coffee in San Diego! It was perfectly strong and smooth, and the man working was kind enough to explain the different kinds and was pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere was lovely with little ponds, waterfalls, koi fish & turtles, and lush with birds of paradise and lots of green, with seating and shade also! Don’t miss out on these guys!

I don't normally post reviews but I felt compelled to do so after a fantastic experience at Origen. Ruben made me one of the best pour overs I've ever had and is easily the most knowledgeable barista I've had the pleasure of talking to. I like to use my trips to coffee shops as opportunities to learn more and I can safely say I learned more in 5 minutes talking to him than I have from anyone else I've spoken to in my ~5 year coffee nerd journey. The El Salvador Anacafe pour over he made was exceptional, I can't wait to go back.
