I came to this coffee shop on a whim as I was going to an event that was around the corner and had some time to kill. When I got there it was roughly 1:30 and the place was busy but not crowded. It was very cozy as you walked in because the scent of coffee and sweet treats were definitely in the air which made the space feel very homey. The one call out was definitely around the service. It was my first time at this coffee shop and I wasn't sure if I had to order at the pad that was on the left hand side or at the spot where it looked like there was a cash register. I stood there for about a minute and a half and when no one acknowledged me he said hi or just gave me a welcome, I decided that it would be best to order from the pad. Again that is the one call out it would have been nice to have been greeted by someone to understand what was best to do at the time. Boarding process itself was simple clicked on the items paid for it and probably within 7 to 9 minutes both of my items are ready. I purchased a iced coffee with a salted cream top and an ube muffin that was warmed up. The ube muffin was just the right amount of sweetness there was a nice crunch on the top as you bid into it and the ube flavor was definitely tasted throughout each bite. The iced coffee with the salted cream top was superb. I definitely tasted the cream on its own and it again was a rich silkiness of cream with a great flavor of salt. Definitely recommend mixing it into the iced coffee because it just really enhance the flavor of the coffee itself. Overall I would definitely go back to this place and try the other items on their menu.

I ordered a strawberry matcha which normally comes with a puree which makes the drink pink in color but I noticed my drink looked different today and when I asked about it they said they had run out of strawberry puree and added a pump of strawberry syrup instead. I would have appreciated to know this prior to taking the drink bc it did not taste as expected. I also found it strange that they didn’t mention it to me when they called me to grab my drink.

So this place used to be my favorite coffee shop in Elk Grove, but I think it recently underwent new management? The coffee went from us getting an extra drink because it was just so good to the last two times tasting so burnt and almost undrinkable. Wait time on a Saturday morning once was about half hour, so understaffed. It was so good before I might come back to try it again 🥲 for one more shot. Loved the ube coffee and 18 grams (quad shot over milk). Have gotten their hazelnut coffee as well, but loved the other 2 more
