This place is a must-try! 😍My daughter discovered that they have Dubai chocolate and a Dubai chocolate latte, topped with saffron and pistachio coffee. It was absolutely delicious. This is definitely not your typical American coffee; This is real Turkish /Middle Eastern coffee. My coffee had a wonderfully strong and unique flavor. Be sure to stir it well! The customer service was also outstanding, a solid 10/10."

This place is amazing ! For real Turkish coffee there’s nothing better in all of San Diego ! I really like the lavender honey latte too! Mo is awesome and has such a beautiful joyful inclusive space! Also they sell coffee beans in these really cute tin cans and I think the refill might be a discount if you bring it back! I love going here on the weekends for my coffee and a little treat outside with all the animals and then popping over next “door” to get fish tacos! Can’t say enough good things about the Sands!

I can speak about Sands Coffee Roasters from a personal and business perspective. Allow me to introduce myself - my name is Jen and I am the Owner of No More Boring Cakes (located in Vista). The owner of the coffee cart is Moe and he is one SPECTACULAR human! I came across his coffee cart about 4 months ago, just after he moved into this new spot (his cart was previously located in El Cajon). After just one visit, I knew this spot was different, and then one sip of the coffee and I knew I found a gem! Moe roasts his own beans at his location in Hillcrest and he concocts amazing flavors including things like: Turkish coffee with cardamon (made in a sand pit), Dubai chocolate lattes, chai with pistachio, saffron lattes, honey/sage/ lavender teas and this list goes on and on. Of course he has regular flavors on the menu, like my favorite white chocolate mochas. I am a little bit snobbish about my coffee and only patronize local business and let me just put it out there that the coffee is FANTASTIC. My friends and family say that I am now spoiled by this great tasting coffee! And I personally like being in a place with great energy, people and feel good about where my money is being spent. Having said all that, I also chose to invest in Moe's coffee cart not just as a customer. Along with helping him get established in Oceanside- we have redesigned the parking lot space adding bright yellow umbrellas, greenery, tables/chairs and a nice patio. I am so proud of how far he (we) have come in the last 4 months! I have a baking business and every Monday and Thursday morning I deliver 12 baked goods to Sands Coffee Roasters. But you can also find me sitting by the fire or soaking up the sun and enjoying a wonderful tasting drink and visiting with Moe, who has become a dear friend. Not just my friend, but a friend to many! So many people return and have become regulars. Now, don't get any ideas about comparing his place to Starbucks or the like. It is not fast and hard to get a quick cup of coffee - so please come patronize us when you have a few minutes to meander. Looking forward to seeing some new faces! There are banana cake with caramelized walnuts with a vanilla icing on hand and tomorrow morning I am delivering gingerbread cake with a vanilla bean sauce. I would also be remiss without mentioning that Gaby's Taco is great and the sweet family that run it are just the nicest folks around.
