Best espresso I had in a commercial cafe, beating many big names in NYC. Fruity, smooth, balanced but not too thin. The staff also gave me a tonic water. I’d come here everyday it I live close by. Highly recommend! (Update: came here on the 2nd day, espresso still good but not impressive, the consistency can be improved.)

We came at the suggestion of my teen daughter for her to hang out a bit. I can't say anything about the drinks--my daughter came to try its matcha-- but there are interesting imported snacks and chips.

Dash Coffee Bar is a cute small coffee shop tucked away on a corner of Union street in Pasadena. They offer specialty drinks including matcha and ube lattes, plus pastries. They can easily be missed because they’re located behind a Thai restaurant (Chim!) and overshadowed by a huge luxury condominium. Anyway, this coffee bar is the place to kick off your morning or end your day. Its interior aesthetic decor was an eye catcher for first time customers like myself. Moreover, it’s somewhat spacious despite its tiny layout with two high ceiling revolving fans. They have limited indoor and outdoor seats. I perused their menu and it has the most common coffee drinks (hot/cold) that people look for. I ordered a hot Latte and Cheeze Croissant. The latte was tastes simple. Croissant was warm, flaky on top, crunch but soft on the inside. I dig it. Service was on point. Prices were fair. Free wifi and parking. Collectively, this is a modest coffee bar to chill with friends and work remotely. Overall, I had a modest experience.
