Starting the day at The Buena Vista with their famous Irish Coffee was the perfect way to kick things off! It lived up to the hype—smooth, rich, and just the right amount of warmth. I also tried the Mexican Coffee, and it was just as delicious, offering a slightly different but equally satisfying twist. For food, we ordered loaded potato skins for the kids, but I ended up enjoying them just as much! They were crispy, cheesy, and a great snack to go with our drinks. What really made the experience stand out was our wonderful server, who was so sweet and attentive, not just to us but to the kids as well. He even surprised them with green balloons left over from the St. Patrick’s Day celebration the day before, which was such a thoughtful touch! Overall, it was an amazing experience—great drinks, tasty food, and outstanding service. The Buena Vista is a must-visit when in San Francisco, and I look forward to coming back!

💙🇺🇲 Heartwarming & Unforgettable Moments @ The Buena Vista ☕ One of my most special and memorable moments in San Francisco happened at The Buena Vista. After a long day exploring the Golden Gate bridge 🌉, boat cruise 🚢 and taking a Waymo cab across the 🚗 (another cool SF tech touch!), my dad and I arrived here — famished and hopeful. 🤎🍮The Warm Bread Pudding with Irish Whiskey Sauce was phenomenal. Rich, warm, and absolutely decadent — I’m still regretting not packing extra for later! Truly one-of-a-kind. 🇮🇪 I also had their Iced Irish Coffee, which was incredible — smooth, bold, and just the right kick 😉. The Bailey's drink was lovely too, though a touch on the sweeter side. I left feeling pleasantly light-headed — in that warm, blissful way that only good drinks can bring!🍻 🥰The true highlight, though, was sharing a table with the sweetest couple from Florida, well into their 60s. We laughed, chatted, and had the most engaging conversation — four different voices, four unique takes (this was right before the 2024 U.S. elections), yet all of it filled with respect, curiosity, and warmth. 👯♀️ Between the lively energy, swift and attentive staff, and unforgettable food, The Buena Vista is more than just a bar — it’s an experience. Highly recommended for both the flavors and the memories you'll make ‼️‼️

The Buena Vista is a historic gem and an absolute must-visit for anyone in San Francisco. Established in 1952, this iconic Irish coffee shop has been serving its legendary brew for over 70 years, and its reputation is well-deserved. The coffee here is nothing short of exceptional—a perfect blend of rich coffee, smooth Irish whiskey, and velvety cream. The balance of flavors is so masterfully crafted that it creates an unforgettable recipe that has stood the test of time. The consistency in taste over decades is a testament to their dedication to quality and tradition. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a sense of nostalgia that transports you back in time. Despite the bustling atmosphere of this spacious venue, the service is impressively fast and efficient. If you’re visiting San Francisco, The Buena Vista is an absolute must-try. It’s more than coffee; it’s an experience steeped in history and flavor! Very expensive but worth it.
