Came here around lunchtime on a Saturday, but we got seated right away...our waitress Semi was so friendly and gave us great service. I had the chicken omelet, and it was really good... The strawberry 🍓 spread was amazing, and so was the Mocha....we will be back for sure....

I have only been here once but we immediately started talking about coming back in the summer even before we tasted the food. Being that it was February and actually a little chilly at the beach that day, we sat inside near the kitchen but that did not mean that we were ignored. The waitstaff were all very attentive and didn't forget about us. The food was delicious. The portion sizes are generous and good for sharing. At the end of the meal, we even got pizelle cookies to take home. The decor is minimal and the uniforms are simple. However, it's obvious that they put all the love and attention into their food and customer service. I will be back!

When we offer to take our CA family out for a meal, they choose Immigrant Son Caffe in downtown Ventura. There’s a reason for that! It’s wonderful. Delicious food—they’re partial to the brunch for breakfast lasagna and strawberry buttermilk pancakes, with a flight of honey sesame bacon. And of course there’re Benedict’s, omelettes and other traditional fare. Our granddaughter devours the fresh OJ. And there are favorite coffee and espresso drinks. Alessandro knows his biz and manages his eatery hands on, confident in his friendly, efficient staff, like Cindy, a hostess making everyone feel welcome, and Faith, who has a high chair and table for 5 on the sunny outer area set up in a flash. As I said, the food was memorable, and there was plenty of it. And no industrial seed oils—especially no Canola. They care! It’s a mostly Italian cuisine with American comfort food offerings. We’ll be back.
