Totally stumbled across this nice little space while I was in Arvada. It was pretty packed at 10am, mostly people working remotely - on zoom calls or in-person meetings. The WiFi seemed to hold up well. Really enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and coffee. Sat at the communal table and had a nice chat with others there. Nothing over the top in terms of service. You order at the counter, they bring you the food. I gave atmosphere 4 stars because this was a beautiful day and they have plenty of additional seating outside in front and back. But these tables were not cleaned, and people clearly didn’t want to choose dirty tables and chairs outside, thus the indoor tables were packed. If those were clean and the crowd spread out, I’d give this a 5 Star review.

Amazing food/drinks — would recommend the sweet potato and chorizo burrito (smothered in green chili of course), as well as the gingerbread chai (which I think is a limited special item for the winter). It was pretty crowded on a cold Saturday morning, but we were able to snag a table after waiting at the bar for a few minutes. Keep in mind that it’s first-come first-serve, no reservations.

I have been to this location quite a few times and have had a great experience always, but not today. We were there for a business meeting and decided to do a lunch meeting. We realized that today the place was quite busy but we found a corner table in the back patio. We soon ordered at the front and waited for our drinks at the bar. The drinks are not served at the table even if you ordered food. The server who got our order charged me double the price for the draft beer and messed up the food order completely. The cocktail was tasting like sugar syrup and had almost nonexistent bourbon. When pointed out they did make another one. Also when I asked for a big square rock of ice I was tersely told they don’t have it and whether I still wanted the drink (attitude), ok then. We got 2 pizzas and they were delicious but the additional topping we requested was not there (charged extra) and when we pointed out was brought out in a 4 oz cup separately uncooked. When the extra charge on the beer was pointed out a refund was offered but then the server disappeared and I never got the refund. The manager was absent and there was complete chaos. I would hesitate to go back there again when I can continue Tavern. Folks take your pick if you want bartenders with attitude and double charged for draft beers. My family has loved this place but it seems the owners don’t care about us.
