First, I've been to the other locations and love going. This was my first time here and WOW!! IN A BAD WAY! RUDE AND MEAN. When we walked in, the staff was rude and acted like we didn't belong there. I grew up in the neighborhood! I asked for hot, then decided to go with cold with light ice. Yeah, that went well. They filled it completely with ice. I asked if I could get a cup to remove the ice. Apparently, he thinks it ok to mock the customer and get upset about it. The girl just laughed at him and treated us badly. I asked to do it myself. Then the other person asked for light ice, again he wasn't happy with it. Do they not realize it's the customers paying for their wages? I'm so disappointed. I would suggest NOT GOING here if you could avoid it. Unless you like being treated bad. Note: The other locations so far have been great to go!

It's a cute cafe that has some good tea and solid coffee. I like this place because it reminds me of the way coffee shops used to be--the interiors were warm and felt very well used, almost like they had a dingy ambiance. And I mean this in the most flattering way possible. I'm so bored with the modern, cold, sterile aesthetic that most places have. None of them are inviting, which this place is. Even the clientele reminds me of proper cafes, hanging out and just chatting. I would probably visit it more but they never have any vegan pastries, which I just don't understand in 2025. Because of this, I usually skip it, despite really liking the place, and I go elsewhere for coffee even though I'm in Baker multiple times per week. I may stop in here on 1 of 15 visits because I know there are no baked goods I can eat here. But I love knowing that a place like this still exists.

4.5/5 - great coffee, didn’t try any food besides the pumpkin bread that’s cooked at a local bakery (delicious). Will return and possibly bump the score after trying to food. Coffee is solid and par for the course regarding cost-flavored ratio. The vibe inside is wonderful, one of my favorite coffee shop interiors in Denver. Great for studying or working from home. Location is a little rough right outside Broadway - the outdoor seating is pretty unpleasant because it sits right on what is essentially a 5-lane highway, but that is Denver’s fault mostly. Great access to this spot with the bike lane nearby. I want to visit again and try some of their other food options before potentially bumping to a 5. This is a special spot and the people of the neighborhood obviously love it. I just wish it was on a calmer street.
