A coffee shop inside a market is always a good idea and Little Hat Coffee is worth a visit. Step inside Streets Market and head to the very back near the registers. Here you'll find a little coffee shop with bar seating only. The menu is small, but mighty. They have lattes, espresso, cappuccino, and more. Tea is on the menu and a few specialty drinks like an Orange Blossom Tamarind Fizz. My vanilla latte was chef's kiss- creamy, flavorful, and so nice. It was just over $6.

Little Hat Coffee is tucked inside Streets Market and it is just too cute. My friend and I stopped in looking for matcha, so we ordered the Matcha Latte w/ vanilla and the Yuzu Matcha Lemonade. The Yuzu Matcha Lemonade was SO refreshing and not too sweet. However, the Matcha Latte was a bit of a let down. Unfortunately, we couldn’t seem to taste the matcha at all despite the green color. It tasted mostly like sweet milk. Maybe it was just a mistake and we will just have to go again!

Great specialty coffee spot in DC! So far the best flat white with oat milk I’ve had here. Friendly and welcoming staff. I was passing by before they closed and got a pastry, almond croissant is super tasty even at the end of the day. Definitely will be coming back. It’s a pity there’s no tables here to sit down, only a bar, however, for to go cup this is so far my favorite spot!
