Davie Kava is truly a gem. This place has been an incredible part of my journey to staying sober, offering a welcoming and supportive environment that feels like home. The atmosphere here is calm and inviting—a perfect spot to connect with others or enjoy a moment of peace. James, the heart and soul of Davie Kava, is nothing short of amazing. His kindness and genuine care for everyone who walks through the door make this place so special. Thanks to Davie Kava, I’ve not only found a safe space but also built meaningful friendships that have enriched my life in so many ways. If you’re looking for a community-driven, uplifting spot to relax and grow, Davie Kava is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough.

I 10/10 recommend this Kava bar! The owner, James, was very welcoming to me and my wife. He is very knowledgeable about the Kava industry. It actually blew my mind. We have been to a few different places and he by FAR has the best tasting Kava around! He is a very friendly and cool individual. It is such a chill and fun atmosphere, with games and music. It is very cozy and inviting; makes you never want to leave. They have several events on certain days which is awesome. We now have a new spot, and James has 2 new regulars!

Love this spot! The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The people (usually in their 20s-30s) here are usually nice and chill. The place has a lot of bored games and an entire area reserved for video games. There are multiple events that happen everyday of the week and it keeps things always somewhat fresh. You'll usually see the same people at this area over and over which can lead to easy friendships overtime. Overall I love this spot and can't recommend it enough for nerds or college students in the area (P.S. Get the butter-beer drink)
