First time here, was in the area and needed a stop to sit down and talk with my friend and have some coffee. The coffee from their local roasters was amazing, i wish I remembered the name. But what I was not expecting was to have some amazing tacos and friendly service. Cute little place, just wish they had more parking. Highly recommend.

The breakfast of perfection... Sweet cup Cafe is a tiny little cafe in Lakeland Florida You can't miss it it's a pink building with very little parking, But oh is it worth a stop!!! In all of the restaurants in all of the states across the country that we go to, one thing is universal - It is extremely rare to find a place that has both good food and good coffee. Sweet cup Cafe is one. They have a small but exquisite menu with a solid selection of specialty coffees. Service was more than friendly and helpful. It's obvious that this place is someone's passion and love, and it shows throughout the experience. Steve had the breakfast burrito and I had the chilaquiles which is like breakfast nachos. The flavors are amazing and you can tell everything is cooked with love... All of the tortillas are handmade. The burrito was stuffed full but still manageable, filled with deliciousness. The chilaquiles were presented beautifully and every bite a savory delight. But the coffee.,.. oh the coffee. We are not really specialty coffee connoisseurs, But we both insist on good coffee as we drink dark roast organic at home and rarely find anything as good at restaurants. I ordered a drip coffee with brown butter and almond milk and Steve just had a regular drip coffee with sugar, both were an enlightening experience. Served in wide stoneware mugs, the experience was as good as the coffee. Please go. You will not regret this decision.

If you are in the area you absolutely owe it to you self to stop at this stupid little pink restaurant. Derek, what's so stupid about Sweet Cup Cafe? I'll answer that later. First we must discuss how amazing the food is here. It can't be *that* good you're telling yourself, no food causes someone to refer to themselves in the third person. This person is cleary crazy. And yes I am, certifiably insane for this restaurant. It's currently 1:23 am, and I just finished eating a homemade cinnamon roll that I'm pretty sure had some kind of addictive secret ingredient. Maybe it's the homemade love? And then there's the soup. Oh my the soup. I could pine for hours over Caldo De Res. It makes me feral, carnal, for its piquant flavor. Delicious fails to reach the heights in order to fully describe how good their soup is. No bags here,be prepared to find a bone and incredible flavor. Guacamole 💯 Tacos 🌮 💯 Quesabirria 💯 Smoothies 💯 The building itself is small, and it may be crowded during lunch (rightfully so). The decorations are charming and welcoming. So what's stupid? All of the above, this place has no business being this good. The Caldo de Res might change your life and cause you to start leaving esoteric restaurant reviews in the third person.
