It was my first time visiting this establishment, the drink I chose was Reese mudslide it was very delicious. They had a painting class and everyone was having a good time. Great place to go.

Found this place not long after moving to athens and wow! Can't say enough positive things, from the exceptional customer service to the high quality beverages. When I move to a new city it's establishments like Mai Kai that almost singlehandedly allow me to make comments like "yes I am glad I moved here, this city has been so welcoming and full of beautiful people" Bula!

Maikai is my “home away from home”. The people are so welcoming, encouraging and supportive. The Kava Tenders, Ava, Joslyn, Izzy and Sky are all phenomenal girls whom I lovingly call my “daughters”. The owners, Courtney and AJ have truly built a business where people from all walks of life can come, relax, and enjoy a cup of Kava without drama or judgement. Love love love, comedy and open mic nights!
