A specialty cafe that is new and chic in the rough downtown location. The coffee is superb, professional, & priced well. Their coffee machine & equipment look sparkling & brand new with the interior decor still coming along. A few tables and small bar seating allow people to enjoy the coffee inside & it gives off a dive-bar feeling. Good vibes inside but the vibe outside contrast. I don’t go out in downtown often, so imo they’d seem to benefit at a better location, especially if customers want to sit and enjoy a specialty coffee for a longer duration of time. Top espressos in downtown 🤙🏼

DRIP STUDIO HNL IS A HIT! A MUST visit if you appreciate how coffee and / or matcha are made with care. I debated between the cortado and cappuccino. The owner recommended the cortado and said it won't disappoint. HE RIGHT!! The coffee was flavourful and packed a punch! I savoured every sip, including the sweetness of the aftertaste. Drip Studio uses coffee locally sourced and (pls remind me from which island).. The coffee and presentation is top notch. I love holding the blue vessel (glass) that carries a nice weight. The color of the vessel and plate echoes the blue walls. I must add, I need to try the ice matcha- strawberry! The DS crew has great energy and truly enjoy conversing with customers. I sat on the bench facing the counter and watched the barista work his magic preparing pour-overs. The barista was happy to answer my questions. The space is cozy and creates a community feel, which they also promote in their pop up and unique events. Please check out their posts for updates. DRIP STUDIO HNL SPECIALTY COFFEE is a gem! When I took my sibling here, he stated afterwords that he just wanted to savor every moment of the whole experience, from the nice design touches like the vibrant blue painted ceiling and the lovely ceramics used to serve food, to the exterior design and quality of beverages themselves- and I have to agree that this spot is disarmingly charming :) As a party of three we arrived shortly after 11am a weekday and just managed to elude any rush. We got three drinks (rosemary iced coffee, old fashioned cold brew with maple foam, and strawberry hojicha) and two sandwiches (egg salad and veggie avocado) with side salads and it was the perfect light breakfast. The staff were so incredibly friendly and the vibes immaculate. I especially loved my old fashioned which was such a brilliant mixing of two things I love- bitters and coffee! I've also previously had their iced strawberry matcha which was delicious. Highly recommend for a lovely morning or afternoon in Chinatown.
