We were recommended to check out Sweet E's cafe so came after a morning sunrise hike. Cozy spot right off Kapahulu that serves breakfast and lunch entrees. We ordered the Extreme Mess that had mixture of three eggs, bacon, ham, scallions, peppers, hash brown, cheese and served with toast. We also ordered eggs Benedict served with herb roasted potatoes. Both delicious options and reasonably priced for the portion size!! Depending on time you come, there may be a small wait but it moves pretty quickly so you won't have to wait long. Service was exceptional and constantly asked if we needed anything else or more water. Parking is limited here to about ten or so spots but thankfully another family was leaving so we didn't wait at all for parking. There is street parking as well!

Great service, delicious food, great atmosphere. We got: blueberry stuffed French toast, buttermilk pancakes with fresh fruit, banana stuffed French toast, fresh papaya, and pork omelette with hash browns. All great but if I had to pick, the pancakes and hash browns were the best!

My wife and I have been absolutely in love with this place since our very first visit! As soon as we walked in we were immediately greeted by the lovely staff and seated right away. We weren’t even done getting in our seats before someone came and brought us a cup of water! We ordered and within 10-15 minutes our food was served to us. The All-American Omelette was absolutely mouth-watering. It came paired with their delicious roasted potatoes and my goodness were they crispy and full of flavor! My wife had the Extreme Mess and it was so much food on one plate, but she damn near ate the whole thing because she couldn’t stop after the first bite. All in all, this place is so amazing and my wife and I will definitely become regulars here. From their kind staff, to their incredibly efficient service, to the amazingly flavorful food, this is our go-to spot every weekend and we cannot wait to come back next week. I wanted to gatekeep it, but it’s too good not to share with everyone, so if you are looking for somewhere to eat breakfast/lunch/brunch, this is the spot!
