Absolutely adore this cafe! No tips are collected. Instead, all 'tips' are then pooled together to provide meals to those who can't afford to have a hot healthy meal. The staff are beyond friendly and are here to listen and just make your day better with hot delicious healthy food, plenty of drink options, and a good and friendly smile

Amazing place downtown on the sw side of the river. First time being here since they opened in 2018 and I was beyond impressed!! They are so kind and generous to every person they meet. The next time I come back I will pay it forward. Great food and amazing house punch! They used to be a musical arts center that helped allow kids in the area have a safe place to go after school and draw, sing, comedy, open mic you name it! Truly amazing to see how this community has grown and this place is planting seeds for God to grow! Love it will be back again definitely!!!🥰

Groundswell Cafe, which is operated by the Matthew 25 program, serves up delicious coffee and an outstanding farmers omelette that you can order as a wrap. The omelette is truly spectacular and the cafe's commitment to paying it forward by providing good food to those in need is admirable. The customer service is also outstanding, making this a wonderful neighborhood spot. I highly recommend trying the farmers omelette - it's a real highlight. Groundswell Cafe, through the Matthew 25 program, is doing great work in the community.
