Milltown Coffee Co. | Moline

We stopped for a quick coffee on our way out of town. MillTown Coffee in Moline was a nice cap and goodbye to our visit to the Quad Cities. The holiday inspired latte was a bonus. The cafe itself, while busy, is quite relaxed and spacious where you don't feel on top of other patrons. I would definitely be a regular if I lived in the Quad Cities area!

Milltown is really great. I went with my family, and we were all impressed by the quality of coffee. Pictured is the Miel (bottom left) and Mocha (top right) lattes. They were very rich, but didnt leave a harsh mouthfeel which is often hard to achieve with hot beverages. The staff know their craft well, and even brought our food to our table, which you don’t often see from a cafe. I wasnt super impressed with the hot food (bagel melts), but they weren’t bad at all. My sister got the oatmeal bowl, expressing it was well-made and had a good flavor. The environment is really beautiful with spaces and outlets to work, as well as a great view of the river.

Delicious coffee, yummy food, friendly service. They were like 15 minutes late to open, which is why I knocked off a star. So, when you go, make sure you're there 30 minutes after they open and you'll have a good time.
