love trying coffee places whenever i can!!! Northern Vessel has just jumped to the top of my list along with The Slow Down. i got the iced cheerio latte (half sweet) and it's perfectly flavored, the espresso is very clearly high quality!! pricing was decent too, my drink was $7.22 which is pretty normal now. i love that they use Califia oatmilk bc it's personally my fav brand of alternative milk. the inside has lots of windows and seating so it's a cool hangout place. def will be back, so glad i got to try it.

Great new discovery in Des Moines that should continue to grow into its place in a competitive coffee scene. There’s great promise here and one can understand the positive reviews. The best quality clearly is the service—warm, welcoming, designed and disciplined to deliver. The coffee is solidly presented and rich in flavor, if playing within a safe and expected flavor profile. The atmosphere was sleek and yet comfortable, not an easy combination to execute this well. Northern Vessel is on my regular rotation and I’m looking forward to seeing how they develop in the future.

How haven't I found this place sooner?! The Cheerio Latte was awesome 👍🏼 and the shirts we got were really cool. Love the vibe. 10/10 recommend 🔥
