A Must-Try Spot for Matcha Lovers! My husband is a huge fan of matcha lattes, so we decided to visit the highly-rated Coffee Lab and Roasters to try theirs—and it did not disappoint! Food: As soon as you walk in, you’ll notice everyone sipping and enjoying their hot or cold matcha drinks. It’s clear that this place is a favorite among matcha enthusiasts in the neighborhood. The matcha is fresh, high-quality, and lives up to its reputation. If you’re a matcha lover, this is the place to be! Cost: While it’s a bit on the pricier side, the freshness and quality of the matcha make it worth every penny. This isn’t your average matcha—it’s a premium experience. Ambience: The café is cute, cozy, and perfect for unwinding. Whether you’re catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet moment alone, it’s a great spot to refresh your soul with their delicious matcha. Transport and Parking: Public Transport: CTA Bus: Route #77 (Belmont) stops nearby on Belmont Ave, just a short walk from Lincoln Ave. Route #11 (Lincoln/Sedgwick) stops directly on Lincoln Ave, close to the address. They have the best quality and fresh roast beans making for a nice cappuccino. The baristas are an absolute delight to talk to, really friendly and nice. 10/10 for this coffee shop. They have some interesting seasonal drinks too

This was my first time visiting CL & R. We ordered 3 specialty lattes and a macchiato. All 4 drinks tasted great! We definitely want to go back and try their other drink options. Also, the pastries in the food case looked delicious! Service was kind and friendly and the overall atmosphere was positive and welcoming! I’m excited that we found this place through our Chicago Café Passport and rate it 5/5 coffee beans!
