We get coffee here quite often. It’s always good and consistent. The chocolate-covered strawberry latte is my favorite!

This place is a neoliberal nightmare. Everything has been crafted to squeeze out the little things that make a coffee shop a cozy place to go and rest up. Instead of a water cup, you get a pitcher filled with lukewarm water and little paper cones that hold a thimble of water and can't be set down until empty. The singular bathroom has a code on it that requires a purchase to use The straws are brittle biodegradable plastic that doesn't make sense given the water cups are paper and would be landfilled. In isolation, these things are whatever, but taken together they are a horrifying reminder that the rent seekers are trying to juice out any sense of enjoyment and relaxation out of these places. And the coffee was just alright.

Coroco Coffee will always be a pit stop for me! Great location downtown Saint Charles and the coffee/staff is amazing!
