Beyond the delicious drinks and pastries (strawberry matcha and Japanese bread were standouts!), the unique history of this location makes it a must-visit. The space has been beautifully repurposed from a psychiatric hospital into a warm, community-focused café. It's a testament to transformation and healing. The staff's multilingual abilities, particularly their fluent Spanish, further enhance the welcoming atmosphere. A truly special place. Be prepared to wait without complaining, it’s worth it! 🤪

What a great little cafe nestled in the old mansion. Atmosphere is original art deco retro. We enjoyed the Triple B coffee and limeades in a cozy corner table. Staff was amazing but but patient as everything is made from scratch. Take the time to enjoy the building decor and architecture. Plenty of free parking and restrooms. They are also pet friendly as we saw a few pups sitting at another table. Highly recommend for quirky, fun, and unique piece to visit in Indianapolis.

Definitely a nice cozy and relaxing place, hidden gem! It has a very fancy feel to it too! But also casual enough you don’t feel like you have to be overly dressed! Sandwiches are made after ordered and nice and warm!! Definitely a place to come by when you have time to relax and enjoy the time. (Btw went alone, but I’d say it’s definitely comfortable for solo dining too!
