Came here to study, we ordered the chai tea and cheesecake. Both were super yummy. People around us ordered food, everything smelled really good. The interior and atmosphere was so beautiful, loved all the artwork. For sure will come back ☺️

We were recommended to go to Andala for a taste of Middle Eastern food. When we reached there for lunch, we were surprised that it is quite a quaint place to be with their interior furnishing and places to sit at the terraces. It has Palestinian origins apparently. We ordered the Hummus Ajami with Beef with bread, a slice of Basbousa, and 2 kinds of tea - Hibiscus and Raspberry. As this might the first time we have tasted palestinian food, the hummus has a soothing unique taste with a hint of their spices. It went well with the minced beef and the bread slices. The tea, especially the Hibiscus, is really an acquired taste. Given opportunity, we would probably come back again to try their other choices of Middle Eastern food.

Having gone to this place multiple times growing up I am happy to say it has remained a core place to dine, get coffee or catch up with acquaintances and loved ones in the Central Square area. The restaurant has regular dining tables, but also seating with cushions, and pillows which give the space a warm, familiar and homey feel. I will speak on what was ordered during this experience. Excellently seasoned home fries for my baby nephew, Foole with Arabic bread as pictured below. My brother ordered a chicken shawarma and I purchased the Hummus Ajami with chicken that I’d highly recommend for a filling, savory meal that is paired excellently with the bread provided. Given it was brunch time, the turtle latte was sampled which was just the right amount of sweet heaven. The Arabic coffee was strong, smooth and went fantastically with cardamom providing a floral and earthy flavor profile. The Nutella cappuccino shown had a flavor profile reminiscent of hot chocolate that you’d sip by the fire on a cold day while bundled in a blanket. The location itself was bustling with so many people enjoying themselves and the folks working there were kind and provided stellar recommendations on what to order. Would highly recommend!
