Not your father’s Vietnamese restaurant. Really interesting flavors where the seasoning and the main element are both the stars. And great execution of those dishes. Definite worth a visit.

Amazing food - perfect combination of fresh & spicy. Small menu but everyone can find something for themselves. Vietnamese coffee with salt was the highlight of my day. I’ll come back as soon as possible.

Someone recommended Cicada for breakfast but we ended up going there for lunch. It’s a small cafe with limited indoor seating and a larger seating area outside. We ordered the charred eggplant Banh MI and black rice with roasted mushrooms and eggplant and the Banh MI didn’t taste good at all while the rice was quite flavorful. I regretted not ordering the rice. The lunch menu is limited. I’ll have to go for breakfast & try out their pastries & coffee and see if it’s worth the hype.
