I admit I can be snobbish about coffee (still haven't found a cafe in Boston/Cambridge that I wholeheartedly love with no caveats) but I really, really hated the coffee here. I got a flat white and the pull was so watery I couldn't taste the coffee (or even the milk)!!! There was no creamy mouthfeel at all. They have a La Marzocco but I have honestly made better coffee with an entry level espresso machine. Seriously, I was so disappointed. At least the latte art was decent. Coffee aside, I would come back for the basque cheesecake. It's really creamy, and unlike other basque cheesecakes, didn't skimp on the burnt top. But I don't go to cafes just for pastries. Service was good. Though a bit busy, the place is intimate and cozy with lots of plants and good music. They do have a no-laptop policy so it's nice to come and just relax.

A really busy coffee shop tucked away in Harvard Square. However, it well worth the wait. I went here on a Sunday morning and got one of their special lattes on their menu. Their croissant was soo good so definitely grab one of those. I do appreciate the laptop free concept so bring yourself, friend, or a book to enjoy this place.

Super cute coffee shop tucked behind some buildings. But, it gets pretty busy at peak hours. They have a no laptop policy which means you go there to either sit in your thoughts or chat with others. Honestly, it's a vibe and I like it a lot. The actual coffee and bakery items are okay though. I got a Chai Latte and it was okay -- it wasn't super hot when I got it though (and I like my lattes hot). They're not amazing and I honestly would probably go to Tatte or something if I wanted some good pastries. But I think you're mainly paying for the fact that it's some lowkey "underground" spot with cute vibes and a nice outdoor seating area.
