I've recently had a reason to visit Salem more often, and every time I do I want to stop at Odd Meter and get a coffee. So far I've only had their latte (vanilla, and a regular without sugar), but it is PHENOMENAL. The espresso is incredibly smooth and delicious and pairs so perfectly with whatever (dairy) milk they use. The staff are very friendly and the baristas are obviously very skilled. I also got a chocolate chip cookie there a few times, which I believe is made by A&J King, and it was perfect each time. This place is a gem and I look forward to grabbing a drink here every time I visit now 🙂 (P.S. they write cute little notes on the receipt when you order online, an extra touch that warms my heart when I see places do it)

I like it’s unique and some holiday stuff. The blueberry maple is fantastic either cold or hot. I visited them both October and off peak seasons, it is definitely more crowded and not that attentive in October but I completely understand that and it does not bother me as long as the quality of drinks is decent. The only one thing I would hesitate is that the pastry. The quality is not consistent. Overall, highly recommended!

I popped in a couple of mornings while I was in town, at the suggestion of a friend. I’m always looking for cool coffee spots, with the option for a pour over. The folks at Odd Meter were really good folks and made great pour over coffee. Also had a cap and the breakfast croissants. Yummy!!
