On a cold Sunday morning you walk into a warmly low lit cafe and come face to face with a brightly lit showcase of the most beautiful desserts you’ll ever see. At that hour it’s quiet and peaceful, to read that book you brought with you or to just take in the hanging art and music playing. Sometimes there’s a chef there working his craft, but always is the same tall, dark haired man with a rich deep voice ready to take your order. You order the Vanilla Raf (cream, vanilla and espresso all steamed together) and take a seat by the window to watch the cars and people go by. Within no time your beverage has been passionately and expertly crafted and warm in your hands. It’s sweet, flavourful, incredibly creamy, the first sip is Heaven. It almost makes you want to order another right on the spot. You almost consider it, but instead for now you decide to appreciate what you have and savour the moment. Knowing that you’ll definitely be back.

SHO coffee & bar is hands down the best spot in Winnipeg! They serve the best coffee in the city – rich, flavorful, and perfectly brewed. Their cocktails are exceptional, crafted with such creativity and precision. The sandwiches are delicious, and the Caesar salad is simply outstanding. On top of all that, the service is absolutely amazing – friendly, attentive, and welcoming. This place truly has it all!

The coffee selection here is great! Whether you’re a fan of a classic espresso or prefer more adventurous flavors like Bumble, there’s something for every coffee lover. The quality is top-tier—rich, smooth, and expertly brewed. Their desserts are equally impressive—visually stunning and flavorful without being overly sweet, which I really appreciate. It’s not often you find a place in Winnipeg that nails the balance in their pastries this well. That said, I personally gravitate toward cozier coffee shop settings, and this place didn’t quite meet that for me. While the drinks and desserts are fantastic, the ambiance isn’t as warm or inviting as I’d like for a place to relax. Still, if you’re after excellent coffee and beautifully crafted desserts, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
