This is my new go to spot! Drinks are reasonably priced and delicious, atmosphere is cozy and funky (there’s a dog-friendly outdoor patio as well), and the employees are friendly. Also - I don’t believe they charge extra for almond or oat milk. This is a great spot to do work, read, meet up with friends, etc. The music is great and not too loud (though I don’t take meetings here). It’s not a huge place, so I could see there being some difficulty finding a table on a busy Saturday. Lovely local business to support. Recommend the iced chai latte, matcha latte, and dirty chai. Will be coming back often :)

I was actually quite surprised how good the coffee and food was here and with decent pricing considering it is in the NODA area. My husband and I ordered a Dirty Chai, A latte, a biscuit, bagel and breakfast for Burrito all for $35. You do have to ordered through an iPad yourself at a self order kiosk station which you may or may not like. It luckily wasn’t busy and had to wait long, but I can definitely see getting annoyed with people in front of you ordering and taking forever not knowing how to use an iPad ordering system and have multiple things to order. After you order they then will call out your name at the next window to the left of the kiosk station. Either way, I definitely would come back here again because of the quality of the coffee and food were really good in my opinion.

I wanted to like Smelly Cat more than I did. While the coffee and food was great, the service experience was very subpar. Not only was ordering done on iPads but you then had to wait 20+ minutes by the pick up window. If they expect that sort of wait, a better pickup system needs to be in place, whether it be a text or buzzer. Rather than spend time with my friends, I had to spend 15 minutes waiting for my bagel and then another 15 waiting for my cappuccino.
