I drove by and decided to stop in. You order at the counter and food is brought out to your table. I ordered the Mahi Mahi sandwich with coconut rice and black beans. Hubby got the meatloaf sandwich with sweet potatoes. Both dishes were really good! Full of flavor and perfect portions. Service was friendly. The atmosphere was laid back and fun. We will be back.

I saw this establishment on IG and decided it was a must try while visiting Wilmington,NC. The young lady at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast, and we're excited to try. As we chose a window seat, we couldn't help but notice the dead flies on the windowsill. We got up and chose another table. That table, however, was sticky and didn't seem to be clean. Our food came, and we loved the presentation. I ordered the banana foster spiced waffle. I wasn't thrilled they came swimming in a pool of syrup. I wish they would've put it on the side. My sisters bowl was beautiful and she enjoyed her food. Her shrimp were well seasoned. I wanted to love my waffle, but the pool of syrup threw it off.

Nice and simple stop for breakfast ending at noon. Easy order/pay/be served/they clean table service with friendly staff. Nice location and open parking. I appreciated the cute subtle quirks there, like drawings or sayings, charming chalk board style menu on wall and conservation education. We tried their grilled chicken salad (moist, a tad overdressed where bottom became oil) and potato hash bowl.
