I wasn’t going to write a review because the shop doesn’t need it… but as I sit in my car almost 2hrs away all I can think about is the Tyrannosaurus rex 🦖. This is by far the very BEST coffee I have ever tasted. I mean, the spot is so freaking cute! I only went because of the dinosaur to take cute photos for my son. But upon arrival I fell in love with the plants, the black decor, and the dinosaur of course. The music was popping and playing urban beats as I prefer. The staff was full of smiles and was working their butts off. I was only in Wilmington 3 days and I visited Hidden Grounds 4xs! The outdoor decor is perfect!!!! I hate coffee shops that let these work from home people ruin it, but not here. It was chic, polished and playful. My last day I visited I had plan to buy beans but they were sold out, so I’ve placed an order to be shipped to me. BRAVO!!!!! I’m seriously thinking of renting a summer house just so I can walk to get coffee everyday. I’m in love 🥰

We have been supporting this small business since the beginning and has become one of our favorite spots downtown! The owners are the nicest people ever and their staff are also absolutely amazing! So welcoming and friendly! They have a great menu with a fun seasonal special drink menu as well! They continue to collaborate with other small businesses in Wilmington showing all the love and support! Highly recommend! The line may be long sometimes but it is soooo worth it!!!

Hidden Grounds Coffee, located in Downtown Wilmington, was a lovely stop. It’s a family owned business with a wonderful backyard garden that’s perfect for enjoying your coffee. The swings were the best part!😍 The garden area is dog friendly😍😍😍😍
