First time here. Brought my wife here for her birthday before Duke and Wake game. Roast beef grinder lacked flavor. Meat was cooked just right and the bread was good just missing something. I got the hot dog and it was ok. Not bad. First thing through the door the host insulted my wife because she had a Duke shirt on going on to say she hated wake as well?? Service was slow but it was busy. I get it. The menu is exciting and I will definitely try again. I had better hopes for this place but I have to be honest on my review. Can’t recommend but will come back for another try.

What a fun experience and great food. We sat at the bar so no wait. The barter was great!! The food was excellent. Best tuna melt I've ever had!! Can't wait to come back.

2/22/24 updating my previous review. I think a place that maintains its integrity through hard times & still provides service with a smile & gratitude for your business, needs to be shown gratitude right back at them. Thank you West End Cafe for being that business that still shows kindness & care. 🙏🏼❣️ Food is always fresh & always delicious! The service has been the same for over 20 years! Friendly, attentive, and so welcoming! The best, most consistent restaurant in Winston-Salem.
