Every time I come here it’s a pleasurable experience. The staff is very very friendly and accommodating. The drinks are so comforting. The food is also very comforting and flavorful. Today, I had a pastrami sandwich on their Brazilian cheese bread- I forgot the official name, but best breakfast sandwich I’ve put in my mouth thus far. SO SO SO GOOD.

We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts. The banana bread was probably the best I’ve ever had, even better than my own recipe. The only downside was the chai latte, which was too weak—it tasted more like milk with a hint of cinnamon, so I’d recommend doubling the chai latte mix/masala. Also, using plastic cutlery made it difficult to cut through the crust on the avocado toast; offering a stainless steel option would be better. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience.

This is a great addition to the Journal Sq area. I work around in the area and my coworker & I frequent this cafe on our lunch breaks or for breakfast quite often. From their breakfast sandwiches, pressed sandwiches, to their cafe drinks everything is high quality, fresh, and delicious. Also, I find the prices of the menu very reasonable. It’s also a great quiet cafe to do your work in, as they have free wifi, a clean bathroom, plenty tables/seats, and outlets! Check this cozy cafe out you won’t regret it!
