I've been going to the NW location because Midtown never has any Firefly on Tuesdays. Imagine my great shock today that the two for Tuesdays deal of 25.00 is now 35.00. A 40% increase!! I don't begrudge a business owner charging whatever they like, if people will pay it, and think it’s OK. However, in Reno there are other roasters that know how to roast coffee, and have really good beans. I went down to the CO-OP and got some No City for 19.99 lb. Sorry Old World, I won’t support you at that price.

This place has delicious coffee and pastries but service is very slow. There was only one person working up front the morning I went so I understand the delay but there were employees in the back that could have stepped up to help keep drinks flowing. After waiting 10 minutes behind 3 people, I finally got to order. Got a Vanilla Latte and a blueberry scone. This coffee shop does not offer 2% milk. Drinks took another 10 minutes. A portion of the shop is a coffee roastery. They weren't roasting when I was there but I imagine it smells wonderful. This place would be a solid 5/5 if service was just a bit quicker.

It doesn’t matter what location or what item I am order; the out come is always the same. Top Notch! Their coffee is the best in Reno whiteout question. Firefly is their flagship and is a tried and true. But I adventure out and try their single origins whenever I can. And the baristas ensure it pulled right even if it takes two pulls. A plus in my book. Speaking of baristas, they are always welcoming, personable, and looking to make your experience the best they can. It makes me want to come back every time knowing they are excited about coffee. I could go on and on, but here are my must tries: Single origin flat white Nitro or cold brew Single origin short americano Thanks Chris for bringing amazing coffee to Reno! See you next time!
