Really tight space in the @coffeeprojectny East Village location, but was able to get a spot to enjoy a good cup of latte and some yummy pastries.

Small cage with outdoor and indoor seating. Cocoyam beans are quality and darker, more bitter roast for an intense coffee flavor. Staff are kind and helpful. They also have wifi for work and some pastries. I ordered the cinnamon roll which was perfection - lots of icing and fluffy and sweet. A bit pricey $6.50 but still worth it in my opinion. I wonder if they bake in house? I also ordered a decaf latte with oat milk and it was good. Tables inside are small and there is only one plug so hard to work from by I made it happen.

The shop is somewhat small, but the seating is spacious, and the interior has a pleasant ambiance. I tried the deconstructed espresso, which I enjoyed for its unique concept—it lets you experience the pure, unaltered flavor of the espresso before moving on to the prepared version. I also ordered a chocolate hazelnut scone, which was decent, though the chocolate and hazelnut flavors were not very pronounced. Overall, it’s a lovely spot, and I’d consider coming back.
