The food was good, especially the Miso Soup. After eating, I paid for 1/2 hour to spend in the cat-room... which was very disappointing. Some of the cats didn't appear to be in the best of health. Some had runny eyes and/or a waxy substance inside their ears. Also, the cat room reeked of urine to the point of forcing me to leave after only about 10 minutes. I suggest they invest in getting some Whisker Litter Robots. I have 4 cats, and you won't ever smell cat urine in my home. This establishment is doing a wonderful thing by offering these cats for adoption, and I praise them for that.

The place has large windows that allowed such nice natural sunlight that was enjoyable throughout my meal! The kawaii punch boba was sweet but not too overpowering and was a nice contrast to the savory flavor of the tonkotsu ramen. The cat room was separate from the dining area. It felt cozy and comforting with the relaxing music they had playing. Overall this cafe felt like a safe space for people who enjoy anime and manga, cat lovers, and Japanese food!

I was really excited to try this place while visiting Syracuse. The girl at the front counter kind of rushed us for our order even though we were the only ones there. She wasn’t very friendly. The food was excellent! We weren’t aware that there was a separate fee for the cat room when we told the girl that we wanted to go in there after we ate. She had us fill out paperwork, then upon checking out she told us it was a separate fee, which wasn’t a big deal but would’ve been nice to know up front. We paid for the half hour in the cat room. The cats were pretty friendly and super cute, but the conditions of the cats and the room were not up to par. Many of the cats had gooey eyes and black stuff in their ears and the smell in the room could knock you out. I have 2 cats of my own, so I’m well aware that they can produce a smell, but there were not enough litter boxes for all the cats. The few they had were very small and dirty. We could barely handle 10 minutes in the cat room before we had to leave. We left feeling kind of sad and worried for these cats. Very disappointing! Update for the owner: yes I was there January 17, 2025. The recommendation of the elixir was a mistake. I love cats more than anything and I only want good things for the cats at your facility, that’s why I made this review. The room smelled really really bad. I understand that cats get sick like people do, but obviously the room wreaks like urine and feces. These cats deserve better than to be trapped in a smelly room.
