Everything about this bakery is awesome! We arrived around 9:30 on Saturday and they had plenty. The line was quite long, but it wasn’t that slow. With local bakeries, you have to expect that there will be long waits, especially on the weekends. I ended up getting the strawberry mascarpone croissant, cinnamon scroll, strawberry scone, and chocolate croissant. Everything tasted incredible, but if I had to recommend one, it’d be the strawberry croissant. Definitely a bit pricey, but so worth it especially for supporting a local business. Staff were also very nice and didn’t feel rushed. I will definitely be back!

So happy I tried this place! The pastries were delicious, the croissants were airy and flakey and many different cookie flavors.Tried both a coffee and a chai, had many different syrup flavors and cold foam. Atmospheres was very comfortable and aesthetics, lots of places to sit and many couches to relax and read. Staff was very friendly and helpful with picking things out. Would definitely recommend if your in the Dayton area!

Val’s in downtown Dayton is a cute French bakery, serving delicious fresh made pastries with seasonal ingredients. Get there early (before 11) to have the best selection, but nothing will disappoint.
