It had been so long since we last ate at Democracy* that my wife and I had forgotten that it existed. Quite silly of us considering that I'm vegan and its one of those rare vegan restaurant options in Hamilton. Luckily, a gift certificate from a friend brought us back. The dishes are wonderfully tasty and very much comfort food. I highly recommend Democracy• to everyone, even the non-vegans in your life.

First time I go there. Friendly staff and place. I ordered vegan burger and cauliflower buffalo sauce bites..both were fresh and good quality dishes and also I had one coffee and one vanilla latte..bill was around $34(I and my niece shared the dishes) Loved the experience and would Definitely go there again and Definitely support local Business

Wonderful menu as far as selection, plentiful baked goods counter, everything was DELICIOUS and the staff is all so lovely. The atmosphere is super duper relaxed and chill. There’s pretty high customer turnover so it might be tricky to keep up but could do with a bit more table wiping. This is my only tiny criticism but there are tonnes of seating areas to choose from. The vegan eggs florentine was absolutely delicious, I’ll be back!!
