Always been reluctant to try scones but damn their cheese and chives scone here is absolutely divine. Highly recommended. It's so soft and buttery with a nice little crunch outside and. I'm going back for these! The maple cinnamon latte was pretty good as well. The girl who served us today was so kind and really love the atmosphere!

Unfortunately unable to review there coffee. Ordered a half-decaf americano, its an easy drink to make and can be done a couple of ways. Told it cant be done, I offered an alternative, cant be done, I offered another alternative, cant be done. Simply went to the next coffee shop where it apparently can be done, and quite well. Otherwise the place has a nice atmosphere and simply needs to work on basic customer service.

I've tried a lot of roasters in the city and Matter of Taste is by far my favorite. Their roasting quality is top notch with a clear difference in their light, medium and dark roasts. It takes patience and care to make a light roast and Matter of Taste definitely has both. Bravo 👏👏👏
