Wow, a real book shop, that also serves great coffee and treats! We were visiting Niagara Falls but wanted to stay outside of the tourist sphere, so chose the Old Stone Inn. My Daughter-in-Law, who is a self professed ‘book worm’ found the Thistle Bookshop and Cafe on her never ending quest to shop for books. So before heading to the Falls we stopped in, and ended up staying for.an hour and a half. We relaxed in the comfortable seating area, had great croissants and pastries, and shopped for books. There are other cool items for sale as well that you might be interested in buying. The staff person was very friendly and helpful. We left with a bag of books and other odds and ends after a great coffee tasting and book shop experience!

Looking for a non chain coffee shop? Well this place is the goto place. We went looking for a coffee shop open past 7pm and found this place. This place is beautiful. Amazing book selection and some really good coffee. The two girls working were very helpful and friendly. Have a seat in the very comfortable chairs and get a cookies, they are delicious. Go grab a coffee and support this place you won't be disappointed.

Adorable wee book shop and cafe, right by the beach. Lots of attention to detail. Staff was friendly, and customers served quickly. I will be back
