We had a Toastmasters club meeting here on a Friday evening. Best experience ever! Please ensure that you make a booking for medium sized groups as this cafe is bustling with patrons. My appreciation to the host/hostess for booking a private room for my party. This gave us privacy and less noise to focus on our club meeting. Plus there was a bell inside the room so that the server can be called in to take orders for those patrons who are unable to make their way to the front counter to place orders (good accessibility). This food was good and affordable. Please note that the private room can be booked for maximum 2 hours (they were nice to give it to us for 2.5 hours) and if you aren't playing games, you need to buy something every 2 hours (you can't just sit for hours taking up seats). All our food was brought to the room. Excellent customer service. One of the good places that deserves your tips.

Lovely place to play card/board games with friends. $6 per person for 2 hours (as long as you order some sort of item). Big selection of games. The food was very underwhelming, I think it would be nice just for drinks, the hot chocolate was good! The service wasn’t the best, our water was never refilled or topped up and we had dirty dishes on our table for over an hour which made it difficult to play games. They never took the dirty plates away the entire time we were there. Would recommend for playing games and grabbing a warm drink but not for food.

I recently visited Twilight Cafe & Bar DT with my family for a casual coffee outing, but unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. We were asked if we had a reservation before being greeted from the moment we walked in. When I replied that we didn’t, the staff mentioned they were “all booked” and directed us to a small table, even though several tables were visibly empty. My wife pointed out a more extensive, empty table that would have been more comfortable. Still, the staff insisted we’d have to leave if someone arrived with a reservation—yet no one showed up, and many tables stayed unoccupied the entire time we were there. The coffee and tea were disappointing; they tasted stale, as if made from old, over-roasted beans. Adding to the letdown, the board games (which seemed like a nice touch at first) weren’t free to play—you had to pay extra, and there was also a two-hour time limit. Overall, the customer service didn’t make us feel welcome, and the quality of the beverages wasn’t worth the visit. It was not recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxed experience.
