Great spot relocated to larger area down the road. This location is much bigger with lots of seating for chatting or reading a book. Lots of new food items, bakery and coffee! I went later in the day and selection had dwindled but that is to be expected Had a vanilla latte and a chocolate cookie. Both 10/10. Get the cookie! Staff was friendly and polite. Great spot to check out

Back for Valentines Day. Still a 5☆.. Still perfect! Belle Vie Cafe & Bakery has some of the best baking we've had. Love that they moved in where Nice Bistro had made a taste of French in our Whitby so popular. (We miss Manon & Bernard) So this is the 1st place I thought of when our 36th wedding anniversary came along, and my wife said, "Bring home a nice treat for our breakfast". I stopped in at 7:30 to secure two of our favorites, the Cherry Danish, along with the rum soaked Almond Croissant, and I let them know of our special occasion. I'm glad to have stopped in at opening and asked them to hold the delectable treats, which I would get on the way home later in the morning. (They often run out early) I hadn't noticed the note on the box until home. "Here's to 36 more!" Also, there was a little extra treat in the box... What a lovely gesture from such nice folks who made our very special day all the better! Belle Vie has outstanding baking for sure. Those small quiches are everything. I highly recommend Belle Vie Cafe & Bakery in downtown Whitby.

Finally visited Belle Vie in Downtown Whitby and it was amazing. The variety of baked goods and the vibe are great. Have to go back for their famous brunch on the weekend. Highly recommended
