Melly’s is truly a hidden gem in Durham! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered their white chocolate matcha latte, and it was absolutely perfect—smooth, creamy, and just the right amount of sweetness. Their cupcakes? Next level delicious! But what makes Melly’s even more special is their mission. Knowing that every purchase supports individuals with intellectual and developmental differences makes every sip and bite even more meaningful. A wonderful spot to grab a coffee and a pastry and chat with a group of young people who vary on the intellectual spectrum. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, it's bright, spacious and tidy. In a world of corporate mega-chains, give Melly's a chance.

Great coffee...great treats. Lots of baked goods, super clean and beautiful inside. The staff?....never been anywhere in my life that the staff are so happy to see a stranger! Super friendly and welcoming staff and support staff! Definitely a place in Whitby I will continue to visit. If you're grabbing a hot or cold drink and maybe something sweet please consider spending your hard earned money at a place that not only fills your stomach but your heart as well.
